Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP)

The QTMP was established to meet the increasing demand for rail transport in South East QLD over the next 10 Years.

The program will build 65 new six-car passenger trains at a purpose built manufacturing facility at Torbanlea, Queensland, Australia, on Butchulla Country in the Fraser Coast region.

QTMP will boost local supply chains, engaging Queensland businesses to supply goods and services which creates job & training opportunities locally, with a plan for indigenous employment opportunities specifically.

Maryborough Aboriginal Corporation for Housing & Cultural Development (MACORP) is regarded as a QTMP supplier & is looking forward to many exciting job opportunities for our mob.
