Buying an apartment?
We have been seeing more Purchasers experiencing difficulty obtaining finance due to cladding issues at the property. As a result, Purchasers that buy an apartment unconditional (not subject to any conditional requirements such as being subject to finance) are wanting to terminate the Contract of Sale (Contract), however this is not always easy. At Provey, we are experienced in litigation and may be able to assist Purchasers to understand their rights on whether they are able to legitimately terminate the Contract. This involves finding technical grounds to legitimately terminate the Contract. Buying a property can be stressful so let's try and minimise that stress wherever we can. Banks are a little backed up still so we recommend negotiating a longer loan approval period and settlement date for yourself. Give your bank time to work on your loan application and prepare for settlement. In return, you don't lose your sanity! 🤗🤓
