Yep shocker, you talk to me. Not some hired sales gun. Who sole job is to sell you.
Spoke to an absolute gent of a guy yesterday.
In his 50s.
He’s mapping out with the team multiple property purchases across his SMSF and other structures. We talked strategy, lending, cash flow, timing, opportunities, locations.
The sort of conversation I absolutely love.
The real eye opener for me was his relationship with his kids.
They are grown, but, they still holiday with him and his wife.
They still want to spend time with them.
They still want to live with them.
In fact, they’ve built a studio in the backyard so family can stay close.
Their favourite thing as family is spending time together.
That’s wealth to me. That’s being rich
Not the portfolio. That just gives you options. Freedom of time. A chance to help your kids.
The fact that your grown children genuinely want to be around you.
In a world where everyone seems obsessed with impressing people that don’t matter It was so refreshing. These are the clients I talk to everyday. Clients whose values align to ours.
Not one client comes to us for Ferraris.
They come for freedom of time, time with family and to help their kids.
They are business owners who want to preserve the wealth they built.
This guy already built something many people never achieve.
Connection.
Respect.
A family that enjoys each other’s company.
I spend a lot of my time learning about people.
Who they are.
What they’re trying to create.
What keeps them awake at night.
What they’re scared of.
What they’re excited about.
Then working out how property can help them get there.
The properties are rarely the most interesting part.
The people always are.
