We are proud to share that Maax Global was the official event partner for 'Cruise for a Cause 2022' where in collaboration with other local businesses we were able to raise an incredible $24,024 for Destiny Rescue.
Destiny Rescue is an organisation who saves children from sexual exploitation. They rescue children from human trafficking, arrest offenders through raids and provide education, empowerment workshops and safety to the women and children that they rescue.
The event itself was an enjoyable night sailing along Melbourne Yarra River in a double-decker cruise boat, where approx. 80 guests joined us onboard. Onboard there was a live artist, DJ, buffet, drinks, raffle, auction, dancing, speeches and of course a very powerful presentation delivered by Destiny Rescue spokesperson Catlin, who educated us further about the incredible work Destiny Rescue does each day.
We are grateful for this experience and for all the business sponsors and guests who were involved in the success of the night.
