Cheap end of lease cleans can end up costing you more, because what your cleaners miss, YOUR AGENT WONT.
Weâve been called in so many times after a âcheap cleanerâ has already done the job and weâve attached just a few examples below. Missed walls, dirty skirting boards, greasy kitchens, mould still in bathrooms, window tracks untouched⌠and now the tenant is stressed because keys need to be handed back tomorrow.
A proper end of lease clean takes time, effort, attention to detail, equipment, insurance, and experienced cleaners. If someone is quoting hundreds below everyone else, thereâs usually a reason.
We completely understand wanting to save money, especially when moving is already expensive. But when your bond is on the line, itâs worth making sure youâre hiring someone that actually plans to do the job properly.
Before booking, ask:
⢠Is everything included in writing?
⢠Do they offer return visits if the agent isnât happy?
⢠Are they insured?
⢠Do they have real before/after photos?
⢠How long are they actually allowing for the clean?
Not all cleaners are the same, and unfortunately the cheapest quote can sometimes become the most expensive one later.
