When I first got into real estate, I wanted the big listings. The luxury homes. The Instagram-worthy properties… and I wanted them straight away.

What you don’t realise at the start is this game is all about patience.

This home just sold for $1,255,000. One of the nicest in my core suburb.
People see the “SOLD” and think it happened overnight.

What they don’t see 👇
I door knocked this property 3 years ago… they had no plans of selling.

3 years of:
• Checking in
• Building trust
• Staying consistent

Eventually the call came:
“We’re ready to move… we want you to sell it.”

That’s the part no one sees.

I appraised this home 3 times over those 3 years and when the timing was right, that’s when the result happened.

Real estate isn’t quick wins.
It’s long-term relationships.

Sometimes it takes 3 years.

When I first started in real estate, I remember looking at agents doing the deals I’m doing now and thinking one day I hope I can get there.

Fast forward to today, and it’s a reminder that while it’s important to keep chasing bigger goals, it’s just as important to stop and appreciate how far you’ve come.
