The RBA lifted the cash rate to 4.60% this afternoon β up 0.25%, the fourth rise this year and the highest level since 2011.
If you're on a variable rate, your lender will almost certainly move. Most pass on the full increase, and most do it quickly. What they don't do is call to tell you there's a sharper option available.

I've been broking for 17 years and have access to more than 40 lenders. I'll look at where you're sitting now and tell you honestly whether moving is worth it. Sometimes it isn't, and I'll say so.
A few things worth checking before your next repayment:
π‘ What rate you're actually on today
π Whether your lender has already repriced
π What your loan-to-value ratio looks like now
βοΈ Whether fixing part of the loan makes sense for you
