Every day, thousands of Wyndham residents sit in traffic on roads that were never designed to carry this load. The Outer Metropolitan Ring Road a 100km high-speed corridor linking Melbourne's west and north has been on the books since 2008. Every major Big Build project from that plan has been delivered. Except this one. Wyndham's growing. The traffic is growing. It's time to build the OMR. We need every candidate's commitment.

Warning from a resdient about an aggressive dog on the loose...

Please be aware this morning my daughter was walking and was bailed up by an aggressive black and tan, short haired kelpie wearing a pink collar with a pink bone nametag.
She turned into OUR street Beldale Avenue, and the dog was on the corner of Beldale and Westleigh. The dog barked at her aggressively and showed its teeth when she went to cross onto the footpath. She stopped in the middle of the road and walked back onto the other side, where it followed her. She had to hide in the bushes and called out. “Has anyone got their dog off a lead. Can you come and get your Your dog please” No reply. It continued barking at her and showing its teeth, she was ready to boot it, as it got so close. She walked back towards Hopetoun Park, waited a few moments and walked back towards Beldale Avenue, where it disappeared.
My daughter is not scared of dogs. We owned a large dog. However, this dog is dangerous and if it was a child, there is no doubt in my daughter‘s mind that it would have attacked. Parents, please be vigilant ensuring that your children are with you whilst walking. And to the dog owner control your dog!

Spotted by a resident: Just spotted on the fence where the new shops are going. Not sure why they need to trade until 11pm in residential areas when majority in Werribee centre close about 9. Objections can only be lodged until about 20/4/26 online at liquor.vic.gov.au
