Melbourne has just achieved its highest sale price ever with the sale of the Coonac mansion at 65 Clendon Road, Toorak for $124 million. This beat the previous record in St Georges Road of $80 million smashing it by over $44 million dollars.

Melbourne billionaire Dennis Bastas has responded to rumours he purchased a Toorak estate that sold for a national house price record for as much as $150m.
