This National Reconciliation Week, we pause to reflect.
From 27 May to 3 June, Australians come together to honour the shared histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to consider the role each of us plays in building a more reconciled future.
The Grove sits on the traditional lands of the Bunurong and Wadawurrung peoples, on either side of the Werribee River. Our local secondary school carries the name Brinbeal, meaning rainbow in Boonwurrung language, chosen through community consultation with Traditional Owners.
We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
