A little quiet on here, but for all the right reasons.

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little absent from Instagram lately, there’s a good reason.

Something I’m incredibly grateful for is that the majority of my work comes through returning clients and word-of-mouth referrals.

There’s something really special about a client trusting you with their home, then inviting you back for another project or recommending you to someone they know.

For me, that’s the greatest compliment I could receive. It’s also a reflection of something I’ve always prioritised in my business — not just creating beautiful, functional spaces, but making the entire design experience one that clients feel confident in, supported through and genuinely enjoy.

So while Instagram has taken a bit of a back seat, I’ve been busy doing what I love most — nurturing those relationships and giving my clients and their projects the attention they deserve.

I’m still very much here, designing away behind the scenes. Just a little less visible on your feed lately!

And to everyone who’s worked with me, returned for another project or passed my name on to someone else — thank you. It genuinely means the world. 🤍

Whenever I show people this project, they always say the same thing… the space looks so much taller now.

But we never actually touched the ceiling height.

Half-height wall panelling can really shorten the appearance of a space, and we didn’t have particularly high ceilings to work with here to begin with.

Simply painting the wall panelling, walls and brickwork the same colour made a huge difference. Removing those strong visual divides stops your eye from quite literally cutting the room in half.

Same ceiling height. It just feels so much taller now!

It’s amazing what a reshuffle can do to make a kitchen feel far more spacious, intentional and functional.

This charming window was once hidden behind poorly positioned tall joinery and an oversized rangehood, blocking natural light and compromising the way the kitchen worked.

By rethinking the layout, the window is now a feature—not an afterthought.
