Three townhouse developments, three distinct characters same commitment to considered, liveable design.
Side-by-side townhouse developments present a particular design challenge, two dwellings, one site, each needing its own identity while working as a cohesive whole.
Across Cheltenham, Hick and Ogilvie, we've approached this brief in different ways, but the underlying principles stay consistent. Considered street presence that respects the surrounding context. Clever massing that gives each dwelling privacy and a sense of address, without one reading as an afterthought to the other. Material palettes that unify the pair while allowing subtle individual expression.
At Cheltenham, angular gabled forms in brick and black cladding create a striking silhouette. At Hick, a curved brick base grounds a dark, textural upper form beneath an established streetscape tree. At Ogilvie, sweeping cantilevered roof planes and olive trees soften a refined stone-and-render composition.
Different sites, different briefs, different outcomes, but each delivering two well-resolved homes that stand confidently together.
This is the value good design brings to dual-occupancy and townhouse projects: efficient land use without compromising on architectural quality.
