Western Australia has the strongest job market with lowest un-employment (3.5 %) rate when compared to decade average and Victoria has the weakest job market with highest un-employment (4.6 %) rate when compared to decade average.

P.S - Below chart shows the change in un-employment rate and WA is showing highest reduction in un-employment rate which is good.

RBA’s Inflation (CPI) target is between 2 to 3% and it is good to see that the latest monthly inflation numbers have come down from 3.5 % to 2.7 %.

2.7 % - Monthly Inflation (CPI) as of August 2024 (Latest available data)
3.5 % - Monthly Inflation (CPI) as of July 2024

This is a good sign because if the monthly inflation figures for Sep 2024 (Which will be released in Nov 24) also comes below 3% then when RBA meets on 5th Nov 2024, they would most likely consider to bring down the official cash rate from 4.35 % to 4.1 %.
