WELCOME 2022!

It's a new year and a new direction for Whiter Real Estate.

In 2022 we will be celebrating our 10th year in business. Over this time we have helped many individuals and families find a place they call home, establish a successful property investment portfolio and managed on their behalf, and in selling a property to move on to bigger (sometimes smaller) and better things.

Over the past few years, my agency has predominantly been focused on providing our clients with some of the highest quality property management services in Melbourne. This was evident, when in late 2021 after making the tough decision to change the direction of the business and release my rent roll, I started receiving comments and feedback from my property owners… "Jason, we want you back please", "… I miss your personalised approach…". I even received a wonderful comment from one of the agencies who took over the management saying that I had over-serviced my client.

So why change you may ask. Well this is two fold:
1. To continue providing the highest level of real estate services now with a concentrated shift to the luxury apartment and prestige residential home market within Melbourne and the inner North West Suburbs.

New rental laws apply in Victoria from 29 March 2021 - ARE YOU READY!

*Excerpt from Consumer Affairs Notice*

Victoria’s rent rules are changing for everyone.

From 29 March, more than 130 reforms to Victoria’s renting laws will come into effect.

The new laws will start immediately after the moratorium on evictions ends, ensuring there is no gap between the end of these measures and the start of the new rental reforms.

The new rent rules will create a fairer, safer system for all. They will increase protections for renters, while ensuring rental providers can effectively manage their properties.

The law changes will apply to all types of tenancies, including private rentals, caravan and residential parks, and rooming houses.
