🏠 🏠 If you've been thinking about a dual occupancy, duplex, or townhouse project, this is the window to act.

✅ Victoria's current townhouse planning policies still allow fast-tracked approval through VicSmart — a 10-business-day permit pathway for eligible dual occupancy projects. It's one of the quickest ways to get from concept to approved permit in this state.

⚠ But planning policy isn't static. With a state election in November, townhouse and medium-density planning rules could shift — and pathways like VicSmart may not look the same on the other side of it.
