Victorian buyers can now see a property's reserve price before auction or set sale day.

The reserve price is the lowest price the seller will accept. For auctions and fixed-date sales held on or after 16 October 2026, it must be published at least 7 days before the sale, and every ad updated to match. If it isn't published in time, the sale can't go ahead.

For sellers, that means agreeing your reserve price earlier in the campaign, based on real evidence. We start that conversation at the first appraisal.
