Perth’s east has plenty of beautiful trails to explore, with bushland, river views and a little local history along the way. Learn more 👇
🌿 Swan View Tunnel - 6.6km return
Head into John Forrest National Park and through WA’s only historic railway tunnel, built in the 1890s. It’s dark and rocky inside, so bring a head torch.
🌳 Railway Reserves Heritage Trail - 41km loop
Following the route of the old Eastern Railway, this trail winds through the Perth Hills past bushland, historic sites and local townships. The full trail is a big one, but there are plenty of access points if you’d prefer a shorter section.
💧 John George Trail - 5.5km return
A relaxed riverside trail following the Swan River between Woodbridge Riverside Park and Reg Bond Reserve, with both paved and gravel sections along the way.
