Commencement: TAFE sign-up to start in 2027 (with on-the-job training prior)

About the Role

Chris O’Keefe Painting is looking for a keen, motivated, and reliable individual to join our team for a 4-year painting apprenticeship. If you are eager to learn a lifelong trade, take pride in your work, and want to work alongside a professional team, this is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career.

You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of commercial and residential painting while completing your formal training.

What we are looking for:

* A strong, reliable work ethic and a positive attitude.

* Eagerness to learn the painting and decorating trade from the ground up.

* Good attention to detail and pride in a job well done.

* Physical fitness and the ability to work comfortably at heights or on ladders.

Requirements:

* Must hold a valid current driver's licence and have a reliable car.

* Must have a White Card (or be willing to obtain one before starting).

* Must provide a recent National Police Clearance.

* Must be able to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

What we offer:

* Full-time hours with a structured 4-year apprenticeship contract.

* Enrolment and support through TAFE training starting in 2027.

What a fantastic event! We were absolutely thrilled to sponsor the Southwest Open last month Golf Club, and what a weekend it was to be part of such an incredible local sporting event.

We were also lucky enough to hit the fairways alongside two incredible pros — Haydn Barron and John Lyras — what an experience that was! It's not every day you get to share a round with talent like that. 🌟
