It has been a busy couple of weeks at Gladstone Park. This is just a sample of the calves born the rest are black.

A post - Just because people have been asking what’s been happening on the farm?? I have been focusing on gradually improving my pastures and the soil healthy and biology. In 2024, I have observed how well chicory 🥬 has grown at our Millfield property “Gladstone Park”. Chicory searches for calcium via its long tap root this also breaks the hard pan. Through regenerative grazing management we hope to see this herb thrive and we will adding it to every pasture mix sown at our property. The final pic is something I got very excited about, it’s a Phalaris seed head. A perennial grass that we would like introduce to our pasture system.
