There are weekend queues, and then there are the kind that tell you exactly what everyone is waiting for.

At The Hill Kiosk, that usually means cinnamon scrolls straight from the oven, still warm, still gooey, and gone before most people have properly started their morning.

Original cinnamon, Biscoff, pistachio, crumble, weekend specials, whatever they have baking that day. It’s one of those Gerringong stops that has quickly become part of the weekend.

Coffee, a scroll, a sunrise drive, and a reason to be out early before heading back to your stay. Hard to think of a better way to sweeten up an autumn morning in Gerringong.

Last spring, Isola welcomed a room full of creatives for Nat Spada and Laura Rees’ Editorial Masterclass, where ideas were shared, connections were made and creativity flowed from one corner of the house to the next.

It’s one of our favourite examples of how the right setting can bring people together in meaningful ways.

Wandering Escapes were so proud to support the team from throughout the alongside our favourites at 👏🏽

For those who haven’t followed along, the 360 South Project saw teams take on an incredible endurance challenge across the South Coast, pushing through long days, physical limits and all conditions, while raising vital funds and awareness for the local community along the way.

What this team achieved was genuinely inspiring to watch. The dedication, support for one another and energy they brought to every part of the challenge never went unnoticed - and to finish in first place while also raising over $15,000 for the community makes the achievement even more special.

We’re incredibly grateful to have played a small part in supporting such a driven group of locals doing meaningful things for the South Coast community. A huge congratulations again to everyone involved 🤍
