Our peaceful 4 hectare rural property is situated in the foothills of Queensland’s tallest peak, Mt Bartle Frere, and has views of world heritage rainforest. The land fronts onto Babinda creek, a beautiful, clear, safe freshwater waterway suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The creek has many species of fish, turtles and sightings of platypus are possible. The cottage is self - contained with lounge, kitchen, queen bed and single bed, reef bathroom. Self catering. Supplies available in nearby Babinda, which has 2 pubs, a supermarket, bakery and a movie theatre open on weekends. Other nearby attractions include: the Boulders, Josephine Falls, Eubenangee Swamp and Bramston Beach. Babinda kayak hire is close by. We are ideally situated for hikers wishing to tackle Mt. Bartle Frere.
