Family Tree Horticulture is inviting expressions of interest from one experienced Senior Horticulturist.

This is not an entry-level role.
It is not a volume-based maintenance position.

We maintain a select portfolio of established, high-end residential gardens where:

• Structural pruning is executed with intention
• Seasonal timing is respected
• Soil health is actively managed
• Presentation is non-negotiable
• Clients expect refinement

This opportunity may suit someone already operating within a reputable premium company — particularly if you are regarded as one of the stronger operators in your team.

We are not expanding quickly.
We are strengthening deliberately.

The position offers:

$35–$45 per hour (aligned with capability)
$2,000 structured commitment bonus (3 & 6 months)
Paid birthday leave
Maintained equipment and vehicles
Clear systems and defined standards

With a view to full time for the right applicants, senior permanent positions and assistant positions are available within our company.

As we continue to build our client base we are constantly hiring.

Job tasks and Skills:
Client discretion is of the utmost importance.
Maintain and care for gardens and property surrounds to the highest possible standard

Help develop existing gardens to the best they can be
Hedging and Pruning (by hand and machinery)
Knowledge of plants
Knowledge pests and diseases and treatment
Basic irrigation knowledge
Implementation of planting plans
Previous experience with minimum Certificate III Horticulture/Landscape preferred but not essential
Responsible for vehicles and tools maintenance

Personal attributes desired:
Excellent communication skills with staff and customers
Reliable and Punctual
Eye for details and ability to work within set time frames
Capable of working unsupervised and highly motivated
Clean manual Drivers Licence
Own vehicle, ute a bonus, compensation provided
Wanting to contribute to the team as a whole and develop individual skills
