The month of April has seen more than a few visitors arrive for a refresh and reset and the beach has held up her side of the bargain, again and again.
Water temperatures are still fantastic and at low tide she is her spectacular best self. Needless to say, everyone who has visited has left happy, at least about everything but having to leave. We are looking forward to seeing you for a winter escape, give me a PM anytime. Our rate is designed to meet your budget. Till then, kettle is on, beds are completely luxurious and the beach, well, she’s waiting.

A few more progress photos.
Landscaping activities have been slow to get started but we’re on our way now.
Also getting facia guttering and eaves done for the Bunkhouse.
Plus a beautiful shady spot for afternoon drinks.
Very glad that my days of climbing up ladders are coming to an end.

For the first time in my life, I had custom-made drapes installed on the windows and not struggling at the sewing machine with metres of fabric was absolute heaven .

Latest project - the girls got to have a name right.
The house we live in currently is referred to as Largo
I called it that because it’s leanne and Robert Grant but also because it’s a musical term which seemed appropriate for the two of us , and also because Largo means to take things at a slow steady and gentle pace and living opposite the ocean that seemed like a good idea for a house‘s name

This little ones called aria because it’s short sweet and full of impact
again a musical term and it seems to suit her
I wanted one of those old-fashioned mirrored nameplate but once I saw the price of them I had to think about another option and so I’ve bought a vintage mirror that’s fairly marked and stained and some craft letters.

Kitchen sneak peek, those who know me well will have seen this kitchen before, a tried and tested formula of white white and more white and I love it. Even used the same bench colour/material. You can’t beat a classic combo. Our thanks to our family members who halved our costs by gifting us their old cabinets. Once she’s cleaned and in her Sunday best I’ll put some pictures up.

Still needs its roller door but we are almost there.Finally shade to park in….can’t wait.
