Gwydir Industries will be closed on Thursday, 10th September to allow staff to attend the funeral of Lorraine Dorrington, a former valued employee of Gwydir Industries.
We would like to pay our respects to Lorraine and her family during this difficult time.

🌅Supporting Young Aggies - The Sunset Gala 2026 🌅

Gwydir Industries was incredibly grateful to be chosen as a Young Aggies Moree Community Partner in 2023, receiving a generous $10,042 donation that helped us purchase new equipment for our recycling operations.

We know firsthand the difference their fundraising makes to local organisations!
This year’s Sunset Gala is their major fundraiser, helping Young Aggies continue supporting community partners across Moree.

We would like to show our sincere appreciation to the amazing team at Hill Fitzsimmons Towing, who generously picked up a load of Timber for Gwydir Industries from Tamworth and delivered it all the way to Moree — completely free of charge! 🙌🪵🚛
This incredible act of generosity and community spirit means more to us than words can say. Support like this makes such a huge difference to our organisation and the people we support.

Gwydir Industries had an absolutely action-packed day celebrating 50 YEARS OF NAIDOC! 🙌🏽🎉
We kicked off the day by entering the damper competition at Moree Hospital… and guess what? WE CAME FIRST! 🥇🏆👏🏽 How deadly is that!

After enjoying a beautiful lunch provided for everyone, we finished off an amazing afternoon with some fishing 🎣☀️

Plenty of laughs, great company and lots of fun — what a fantastic way to celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC! 🖤💛❤️
