It’s a really incredible time in the Riverland region!! Please be sure to check out what’s open and available for visiting but also it’s a great time to put your kayaks in the water and paddle along, also checking out backwaters and lagoons. Please don’t be deterred by mainstream media covering a lot of the negative and destructive sides of what’s happening. This is a time in our history that we should all witness if possible. Our home is not of any threat of being flooded and out pontoon will be accessible for use. We also have a few available spots through December and Christmas that would be a great opportunity for those wanting to visit the area. Remember… we will be closing the home down permanently as of March 2023. Get in fast and see the Riverland like you’ve never seen it before.

has the most beautiful journal to encourage critical thinking while travelling. Teaching them to broaden their learnings and think about what they are seeing and learning while travelling Australia. There are lots of different activities and ways of documenting all the incredible experiences along the way. After 2 years of our young ones minds being relatively suppressed from the wonder of travel and the experiences it offers. This truely is a special gift for the adventure ahead.

It’s been a while since we connected with you all, as we have been really tuned into our little family and some personal needs that required some care… I’m sure you all know the feeling, especially with kids😅.
However it’s not to say we haven’t been feeling all the love and support shown from our incredible guests who continue to keep us busy through all the bookings💖🙌🙏.

Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it on how truely grateful we are. It’s been a VERY confronting and uncertain time in the world these past 16months, and everyone has been and is still feeling it in different ways. But the fact that we’ve been able to continue operating through people choosing US over another (and there are some amazing competitors in the region) has been very encouraging.
This time of year in the Riverland is actually one of our favourites. It’s such a beautiful place to slow down and recharge, while still taking in all the beauty of the region and all it has to offer. Check it out and support the Riverland on your next trip away

Cadel based riverside BnB, looking for a part time grounds keeper.

Duties include:
* mowing lawns
* snipping edges
* removing rubbish.

Ride-on mower, whipper snipper and ute supplied on site.

If you’re booked to be staying with us, please be sure to pack your replant. This time of year the little critters are always around but it’s important to be even more mindful of them during higher health risk times. 👍

🦟There is currently a higher risk of mosquito-borne Kunjin and Murray Valley encephalitis viruses in South Australia, particularly in regions along the River Murray.

This warning comes after a sentinel chicken based at Meningie tested positive for these diseases during routine monitoring. There is no vaccine and no cure for these potentially deadly diseases so it’s important to of mosquitoes and protect yourself.
