Morpeth, NSW's heritage town, boasts one of the oldest bridges in the country. Built in 1896, the timber trestle bridge crosses the Hunter River connecting the surrounding farmlands.
To acknowledge the town's 200th birthday, architectural lighting was installed on the bridge for all to enjoy, with the lights being turned off each night at 10:30pm.

It was amazing, the history of the place, furnishing & ambience was great and how central it was to all the amenities was spot on. We were so glad that we stayed in the Monte Carlo Suite & had it to ourselves, the Verandah was amazing.
