A very strong finish to 2020 with sales ranging from $800k to $5.4m in the last quarter, no doubt portents of things to come in 2021. We have seen a significant uplift in sentiment and buyer confidence as we start the New Year, a little bit of 'Let's get on with it' from buyers and sellers alike.
Our Lower North Shore office has kicked off strongly with one colleague listing 12 Auctions for February. Despite the pundits predictions of an industry catastrophe over 2020, the market held up price wise, although listing volumes took a hit as you would expect. The renewed vigour of this market hints to price growth circa 5-8% in the coming quarter, a notion supported by the banks, commentators and even the naysayers!
February always herald many new listings and with Easter early this year, for those with selling in mind, it is time to get going!
