Last week, every Jamesons branch came together for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea ☕
150,000 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every year. Behind every number is a family navigating one of the hardest seasons of their lives, and the Cancer Council is there for every single one of them.

As the largest non-government funder of cancer research in Australia, their work has helped push survival rates from 49% in the 1980s to 71% today. That progress doesn't happen without community support.

Every strata scheme has by-laws. Covering things like noise, parking, pets, renovations and shared spaces.

They're not there to make life difficult. They're there to make living together work.

In a building this size, there’s always something happening.

Repairs, planning, compliance, upgrades, it’s all part of keeping things running as they should. What matters is having a plan and a team that stays across it, so things don’t slip and costs don’t creep.

The answer depends on whether it’s common property or your lot.

Something breaks in your building. The first question is always: who fixes it?
Common property: structural walls, the roof, lifts, hallways, shared plumbing, that’s the Owners Corporation’s responsibility under the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015.

Lot property: internal fixtures, appliances, floor coverings, that’s on the individual owner.

The grey areas like balconies, windows, and bathroom waterproofing depend on your strata plan and by-laws.

Imagine losing your job on a Friday. By Monday, you can't make rent. By the end of the month, you're sleeping in your car.

It happens faster than most of us think. And for over 122,000 Australians, it's not a hypothetical, it's today's reality.

This June, four of our Jamesons leaders: Paul Culbi Shweta Ranawat Gabby Dredge and Sophia Lentros - are participating in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to help change that.

The money they raise funds:

🏠 Crisis accommodation for people with nowhere to go
🍽️ Emergency food relief for families in need
💬 Financial counselling to help people find stable footing
❤️ Long-term support programs that break the cycle for good

One donation won't solve homelessness. But it funds the services that stop one more person from slipping through the cracks.

The team are working towards their goal of 20K - with just under 15K to go.
