Even through the winter months, the Country Club has been buzzing with activity, bringing residents together to connect, stay active, learn new skills and enjoy everything our vibrant community has to offer.
Just six months on, it's wonderful to see new friendships forming, neighbours supporting one another, and a strong sense of community flourishing.

A beautiful Australia Day spent at Mount Barker — good company, meaningful connections, and the simple joy of community living

A lovely morning at Mount Barker, with residents coming together to enjoy the new pickleball courts. Around 20 neighbours joined the try-out session, sharing a relaxed game and easy conversation.

The best part? Pickleball is now becoming a regular catch-up, with sessions twice a week at 10:00am on Wednesdays and Sundays. Everyone is welcome to come along, join a game and share a laugh.

It was a wonderful day celebrating the official opening of our new Country Club at Mount Barker.

Proudly launched by the Mayor of Mount Barker and hosted by Keith Conlon, the event marked the opening of Living Choice’s first land lease seniors’ community and an exciting new chapter focused on wellbeing, connection and enjoying life together.

Designed to encourage an active lifestyle and meaningful social experiences, the Country Club offers residents more opportunities to move, unwind, connect and take part in community life.
