Good evening all, a watch was found at the swimming hole today Friday February 13 2026. The person who found it took it home with them. Please message Talbot with a description if you believe it is yours. She will post the watch to the person who can describe it.

With the amount of rain and flooding this week the swimming hole remains inaccessible and unsafe. A risk assessment will be done early this coming week along with a scope of works required to ensure public safety before access can be restored.

We will keep you updated on outcomes and any progress

This is where the track once was to the swimming hole. It is going to take a lot of work to make this safe for public access again. We will be contacting Mackay Regional Council to come and assess the road and access before we can unlock the gates

⚠️DANGEROUS FLOOD WATERS

It will take some time after the weather clears for the swimming hole and access to it to be safe. There are road washouts, trees down and the creek is very dangerous. The creek has already breached its banks.
