Heard in the hood... 📣
From local art and food trucks to Winter Solstice celebrations, there’s plenty happening around the neighbourhood this weekend and beyond ✨
🍜 If you’re a fan of Kasama’s Thai Kitchen, you’ll find them tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) at a pop-up food truck event at Crimea Park in Morley alongside a range of other vendors. Nat sent the Stealth Fox (David) there last night for takeaway and can confirm it’s every bit as good as ever! 😋 Check Kasama’s page for all the details.
🔥 As part of Men’s Health Week, the team from Bayswater Mens Shed will be firing up the Hibachi Grill at Maylands Peninsula Golf Club tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am–12pm. Anyone keen for a chat, connection and community is welcome. Attendance is free, with registrations preferred.
🎨 The annual Lawley Art Auction is back! Join Nat at Mount Lawley SHS and bid on one of 88 incredible pieces of locally produced artwork, with all proceeds supporting the school. Artwork viewing from 2pm, canapés and music from 5pm, and the auction kicks off at 6:30pm.
