We are open again, for the holidays and into wildflower season! We have added new heating (and aircon) and now two doubl...

We are open again, for the holidays and into wildflower season!

We have added new heating (and aircon) and now two double bedrooms. We have also renovated the front porch with a futon which can serve as an extra glamping double bed. With the double airbed in the lounge, the house can now sleep 9, but 7 in heated rooms.

We have also cleared a campground w firepits northwest of the house, and can lease tents for stays and events - the recent Medieval Fayre was a hit.

We are almost fully booked from end of August. But still some availability this school holiday, so hurry. First in best dressed!

Next bout of renovations we are considering waterbore for lawn and/or washing machine. Have your say in comments.

And then TADAAAA ... new bigger watertank for the house! Just plumbed in today. We moved the old tanks ourselves, even roped in the new Wrangler to pull out iron girders, and screeded a huge sandpad. Helped roll it into place, and now sparklingly clean water. Took a while, but done now... Big day!

SO happy with the way the front porch is turning out, after the renovation of the Louvre windows. And, amazingly, it works to cool down the whole house once the wind comes through. Just tip open the Louvres and nature does the rest!

3 cheers for self-levelling epoxy sand paint! The wet rooms are now much more attractive (and easy to clean!). We totes underestimated how much was needed, but got there in the end (15 kg for all 3 rooms).
