What is changing? From the 1st of July, new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations will come into effect for real estate agencies across Australia. These government-mandated laws are designed to increase transparency and safeguard the property market, requiring agencies to verify the identity of both vendors and purchasers more rigorously than ever before.

What does this mean for you? Under these new rules, we are required to conduct thorough "Know Your Customer" (KYC) checks. This involves verifying your identity and, in some cases, the source of funds or ownership structure of a property. While this adds a layer of administration to the sales process, it is a vital step in keeping our local property market secure.

The "Beat the Deadline" Advantage ⏳ We want to make your experience as seamless as possible. If you sign an agency agreement to sell your home with us before the 1st of July, you will be exempt from this new verification process.
