What an absolutely unforgettable day! ๐
On Saturday 28th February, we officially opened La Vie Reserve Park, and what a day it was. The atmosphere was electric as the community came together to celebrate and if you werenโt there, you truly missed something special.
From the smell of the sausage sizzle thanks to the team at Australian Gas Network Group drifting through the air, to kids running around with ice creams in hand, there was joy everywhere you looked. The little ones were in heaven at the Teddy Bears Picnic courtesy of Spring Early Learning , the face painting queues were non-stop all day, and the Narangba Crows AFL Club - NAFC football demonstrations drew a fantastic crowd. The farm animal petting enclosure was also a huge hit with absolutely everyone, not just the kids!
A very special thank you to Councillor Mark Booth and Shane King MP for officially opening the park and helping us mark such an important milestone for the community.
We would also like to sincerely thank Amy White and Blayne Magner of City of Moreton Bay Council for seeing the vision from the outset, and helping make this space a reality. Your belief in the project played an important role in allowing it to come to life for the community to enjoy.
This incredible space wouldnโt exist without the outstanding team behind it:
โข Parx (formerly Playscapes) for delivering the exceptional play equipment that had kids climbing, swinging and exploring from the moment the ribbon was cut.
โข GX Outdoors for the beautifully finished park furniture that completes the space and makes it so welcoming.
โข Saunders Havill, who took the ideas in our heads and transformed them into a workable, thoughtful design that translated seamlessly into built form.
โข BLC Landscapes โ Michael Ritchie and his team, who brought the entire vision to life on the ground with precision and pride.
โข Shadforth Civil Construction, for preparing the site and always being on hand whenever needed, their support behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly from the ground up.
It was one of those days where you could genuinely feel the community spirit. We couldnโt be prouder of how the park has turned out and judging by the smiles, laughter and full carparks, we think the community feels the same.
If you missed itโฆ donโt worry. The park is open โ and itโs even better in person.
