After five years in the making, ONE Apartments by GWH is officially complete 🙌

This project has been a huge milestone for GWH — our largest residential development to date and, for now, the tallest building in Newcastle. From the very beginning, ONE pushed boundaries in scale, design and delivery, and today it stands proudly as a new landmark in the city.

It has been a huge year at ONE Apartments for the team onsite.

The year started with celebrations of breaking records with the Level 1 carpark slab, and has ended reaching Level 14 on the south tower, and Level 12 on the north. This is exciting news and means we are on track to reach the top of both towers mid 2025 as scheduled.

On Thursday we celebrated reaching the top at ONE Apartments with a lunch for the GWH Build teams, vertically integrated businesses at the Hunter Construction Group, and preferred partners.

It was a chance to thank all those that have got us to this point and a great way to start the long weekend.

We reached a significant milestone at ONE Apartments as it officially became Newcastle’s tallest building, with the structure now complete at 1 National Park Street.

The ‘topping out’ of the building is the latest construction milestone and a momentous occasion that marks a significant step in the city’s ongoing transformation and solidifies ONE Apartments as a premier residential address.
