Incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing Haven House Woolloongabba to life.

Developed in partnership with The Salvation Army Australia and Property Industry Foundation, Haven House Woolloongabba provides safe, supported accommodation for young women aged 17–22 who are studying, working or building their pathway towards independence.

More than a place to live, the Salvation Army’s program provides a hand up - combining safe accommodation with case management, education and employment pathways, life skills, community connection and practical support.

With around 40,000 people seeking housing support each year, and women and young people representing a significant proportion of those in need, projects like Haven House Woolloongabba really do matter.

We’re proud to contribute to a project with such a meaningful purpose, and to see a place created where young women can feel safe, supported and empowered to build what comes next.

Bel Air | A look behind the design.

For Bel Air, we wanted a fresh set of eye. A practice that would approach New Farm without a formula. So we partnered with Studio Kennon.

Led by Pete Kennon, the studio works across architecture, interiors, furniture and art, with a sensibility drawn less from trend than from memory, place and the way a space is felt. It’s a considered, quietly confident approach and one that meets New Farm’s heritage character on its own terms.

The result is a collection where the thinking lives in the detail. Swipe through for an early look at the plans, materials and stone selections beginning to take shape.
