We recently came across this skylight job, and unfortunately it’s a perfect example of why cutting corners on roof work can end up costing far more in the long run.

Instead of being properly flashed and installed, this skylight had been patched with concrete and makeshift repairs. Over time, these types of fixes can crack, fail, and allow water to enter the roof space, leading to leaks and expensive damage.
