It’s official… we’ve BROKEN GROUND🚜

Today the teams arrived on site for one of the biggest milestones in any build — Site Start.

But this isn’t just about watching the excavator at work 👀

Each team had to:

✔️ Mark out the exact footprint of their home
✔️ Use their team colour spray cans
✔️ Get it done FAST
✔️ And most importantly… get it RIGHT

Precision meets pressure.

Fastest and most accurate takes the win 🏆

You could feel the competitiveness in the air — measuring tapes out, spray cans shaking, and plenty of “are you sure that’s right?” moments 😅

Yellow Team doubles the opinions 💛

Two couples. Four perspectives. Endless possibilities.

With so many style directions they could have taken, this appointment had the potential to go anywhere — but somehow, it all worked.

Roger may have found himself outnumbered a few times (sorry, Roge 😅), which Erin secretly admitted made it even more fun to guide them through.

It might have been a slightly longer appointment — but the collaboration paid off.

Watch how the YELLOW team balanced four voices and still landed on a cohesive final look.

Orange Team brings the banter 🧡

Inside selections? Easy.
The external scheme? That’s where things got interesting.

There were strong opinions… a firm “no more grey” said multiple times… and a familiar pattern where Alex made his choice, fully aware Tracy would probably fix it anyway 😅

Thankfully, Julian “the Foreman” stepped in to help guide the external direction — but in the end, sometimes you just have to leave it to your wife.

Watch how the ORANGE team navigated their colour clash and landed on a scheme they both backed (eventually 😉).

Red Team keeps it cool ❤️

Prepared. Organised. Ready to go.

Sam walked in with clear ideas — and they were the ideas that shaped their final selections. Grant? He was happily enjoying his coffees… but don’t worry, he definitely knew why he was there 😅☕

There was no drama here — just smooth decision-making and total alignment.

If their build runs this smoothly, they’ll be cruising all the way to the finish line.

Pink Team brings the bold energy 💗

Loz did her homework — jumping into the online selections portal before their appointment — so they walked in with a clear vision and strong opinions.

They bounced off each other effortlessly, sharing similar tastes… even if Loz upgraded a lot while Luke quietly gritted his teeth. (She is the boss, after all.)

But in true Dream Street fashion, they believe in “agree to disagree” — and Luke did secure one major win with the bath choice 🛁

From the start, they knew exactly what they wanted — and 90% of the time, they were completely aligned.

But great design is about trust. They leaned into Erin’s professional advice while staying true to their identity — striking the perfect balance between vision and expertise.
