"I can't buy an investment property anymore because of the tax changes."

This is not true. The proposed CGT and negative gearing changes aren't law yet, and won't start before 1 July 2027 at the earliest. New builds are exempt entirely, full negative gearing, full CGT discount.

The window hasn't closed. It's just changed shape.

An interstate investor was seeking a low-maintenance, free-standing home in a high-growth corridor with strong long-term capital growth potential.

We were alerted to a large family home in Springfield Lakes by sales agent Clare May Real Estate, who we had previously worked with.
