Today marks two years since Todd, Dean and I rebranded our 50 Year Family Business to: ~ Property Place Agency ~

After loving many years of being part of a wonderful franchise, we reached a point where we knew it was time for us to go our own way and create our very own independent brand - to take us to our vision for the future 🩵

The last two years have been filled with so much exciting change and growth, and have given us a fresh new energy! 💚

We have strengthened our presence in our local community of Padstow, Revesby, Panania, Picnic Point + surrounds, and expanded our business into the beautiful St George area, with the opening of our second office in Oatley.

We’ve been absolutely loving our expansion under our new brand, with our Oatley team selling homes across Lugarno, Peakhurst, Riverwood, Mortdale, Penshurst, Hurstville + more - well and truly exceeding our expectations on opening in St George ❤️

It’s been a beautiful experience being welcomed into a new community, with so many lovely new relationships made. We are beyond grateful for every beautiful client who has placed their trust in us to look after their most treasured asset - their home 🏡

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for embracing all of the exciting changes, believing in our vision and continuing to grow with us. Your hard work, loyalty and commitment have played such a huge part in where Property Place Agency is today 🙏🏼

Last weekend our family honoured 5 years since we lost our beautiful Dad - John “Wes” Owsnett 🙏🏼 He so loved what we were building, and we know he would be so bloody proud of us all, as is our gorgeous Mum 💗💗

Two years on, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey - both over our last 2 years, as well as the past 50 years, and we’re so excited for everything still to come ✨

I’ve seen a few from my desk in my office here - looking up Ryan Road in Padstow, over many years… but this is the most amazing double rainbow I’ve ever seen from here.. and something about it, in amongst all the hard that most are feeling right now.. something about this one feels like a really positive sign today ✨💗

A proud family moment 💗
Belinda, Dean & Todd Owsnett with Todd’s eldest daughter, Zara Owsnett, who is the first of the third generation of the Owsnett family to work at Property Place Agency.

Zara has joined our Property Management team, continuing the Owsnett family legacy and becoming part of the business her family has built up over the last 5 decades, while she continues her university studies.

Farewelling our beautiful Liz 💐
This month has been so special as we honoured + celebrated our beautiful Liz - who we have had the absolute joy of working alongside in our business - for an incredible 33 years - as she heads off into the sunset to enjoy her well earned retirement 💞

These past few weeks have been filled with lovely lunches, going through old photos, giggles, reminiscing, speeches, ch*****ne, tears + emotions, gorgeous gifts, well wishes, and so many beautiful flowers 💐, and we just love how incredibly spoilt she has been.

I was 17 and in year 12 when Liz started working in our business, and we shared the weekends back then - back when we still had a typewriter 🤣 and less than 10 staff!

Both Liz and I have literally grown up in the business together, and we have witnessed it all. We’ve seen staff come and go, and have both formed close bonds with those who have stayed with us over the years 💗

Liz has been incredibly dedicated and loyal, she has shown so much care for our business and our clients, as well as being a mentor and second Mum to all our staff.
In short, she has been invaluable to us, and a special part not only of our business, but also of our family.

I was sharing on Friday how proud Dad would be of her, and we were all having a giggle about how she was the one (the only one), who stayed there working with him over all the years. He adored you Liz and he would be so chuffed about that.

Todd, Dean and I are so incredibly grateful to Liz for the years she has been with us, and I know it’s going to feel very hard not having her here in the office with us every day 😢😭

Liz, we are wishing you every happiness ahead, time to relax now and enjoy lots of precious time with your children and grandchildren.

For us, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon ❤️

As we prepare to farewell our beautiful Liz this Friday, who we value beyond words - the one who has been with us the longest - 33 incredible years (!) - as she heads off into the sunset for her retirement, and time with her precious family and grandchildren, we thought we would take a little step down memory lane.

Coming originally from a legal background, and starting in our business covering our office on weekends, when her children, Olivia and Reece were young, to working as a Property Manager alongside Sue, to later managing our Rental Department, and in later years, managing our commercial properties and our accounts department 🙏🏼

We just adore her. We are so incredibly grateful for her, and on this post today I wanted to go back (as far as I had digital photos), to share some pics with Liz + some of the different iterations of our team over the years - because over many many years, Liz taught, trained, mentored, nurtured, and gave so much precious life advice to so many of our gorgeous staff (and also to Todd, Dean and I), and I know Liz has had such a huge impact on so many lives over all the years 💞

So I thought I’d also like to put out a little welcome to each of our current + previous staff who have worked alongside Liz over the years (many of who are in these pictures here), if you would like to share a message in the comments here to Liz today 🙏🏼

We love you Lizzy, and we’re so looking forward to sharing a ch*****ne together tomorrow 🥂🍾💞
