🐏TUESDAY SHEEP SALE RESULTS 🐑

🐑 AA & TA Jarrott of Bribbaree had a great sale with a pen of heavy trade weight Merino lambs bringing $338.20.

🐑 Hutchins & Sons of Peak Hill also had a great sale with a pen of heavy trade weight 2nd X Lambs which brought $323.20.

🐑 P & M Carty of Mandagery had a very successful sale with a pen of trade weight 1st X lambs which brought $290.

Tuesdays sheep and lamb market saw a smaller yarding of 17,000 with a better quality yarding, most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a firm to a touch market. Cross bred lamb prices softened with some good runs of trade lambs bringing up to 1250c per kg again with feeders going strong once again after these types where as heavy types where either side of 1150c per kg. 2,700 Merino lambs were presented ranging from 1060c to 1100c. There were 600 hoggets yarded the best bringing $298. The mutton job saw mostly firm to dearer trends with dearer trends on medium & heavy sheep with still mixed quality presented, with a lot of sales above 950c and some touching over 1000c per lg. Around 7,000 sheep were yarded.

🐑 DG Morrison of Forbes also had a great sale with a pen of heavy trade weight Merino Lambs which brought $296.20.

🐑 Hood Family Trust of Parkes had a very successful sale with a pen of heavy trade weight Merino lambs which brought $295.

Tuesdays sheep and lamb market saw a larger yarding of 32,000 with a mixed but fair quality yarding, most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a dearer market. Cross bred lamb prices lifted with some good runs of trade lambs bringing up to 1260c per kg again with feeders going strong once again after these types where as heavy types averaged 1110c per kg. 6,000 Merino lambs were presented ranging from 1060c to 1100c. There were 1,900 hoggets yarded the best bringing over $315. The mutton job saw mostly firm to dearer trends with dearer trends on medium & heavy sheep with still mixed quality presented, with a lot of sales above 900c. Around 7,000 sheep were yarded.
