Australian and New Zealand soldiers landed on the beach at Gallipoli in Turkey on 25 April 1915.

This was the first major military campaign for soldiers from Australia and New Zealand.

On Anzac Day, there are many ways to honour people who have served, and those who continue to serve, in Australia's armed forces.

You can attend a dawn service or an Anzac Day march, you can also wear rosemary as a symbol of remembrance.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
