📢 Pelican Waters Southern Lock Gates – Notice of Closure 📢

Attention all Lock Gate Cardholders:

Please be advised that the Pelican Waters Southern Lock Gates will be closed on Thursday, 11 June from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM to allow for essential repairs.

The gates have been intermittently tripping and resetting during operation, particularly on the lake side. We believe this is due to a faulty cable, which will be replaced during this time.

🚫The lock will not be operational while repairs are underway.

Apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will keep you updated should there be any changes.

RED SHIELD APPEAL SALVATION ARMY
Today the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal breakfast was held at the Caloundra RSL. As a table host, I was fortunate to have the support of a number of companies and individuals in our community who were keen to lend a hand in supporting this wonderful cause. All funds raised go to Caloundra’s Salvation Army local branch for providing support for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness. The Salvos provide an outstanding service in our local community and are to be congratulated for their continued efforts in supporting those who are losing hope or have lost hope. A huge thank you to all those who committed to be on my table and to lend their financial support.
