We have been a little quiet on here as Mark and Cassandra are being grey nomads on the big island. James and Annabel are looking after the Rustic Hut Bush Retreat and went for a walk down to the waterfall this morning. How good does it look after all the rain. The waterfall is accessible from the huts and we can point you in the right direction to get a photo yourself.

We have added a new sign at the front of the Rustic Hut Bush Retreat to show the passing traffic the hidden gem we have out of sight. Huts cannot be seen from the road which is great but now people will have an idea of what we have hidden away.

Well we finally have the wrap done on Karren the Rustic Hut Courtesy vehicle.
She should stand out in a crowd and double as a mobile billboard. Karren is available for our guests who book whilst staying with us for two nights or more. We can drop you off and pick you up from one of our great eateries in Penguin. As mentioned before advanced notice must be given to make sure the free service is available.

Beautiful day in Penguin for a morning walk. We are only eight kilometres from the town centre. Just a reminder we do have a courtesy vehicle if you book for two nights or more and would like to go down town we can drop you off and pick you up .This has to be organised when booking in case we are getting a little social ourselves.
