Well me missed our twelve month anniversary of owning the Rustic Hut Bush Retreat by a couple of weeks. The time has flown by and we have had many guests come and go in that time. Mark and Cassandra have been coming and going due to tying up some loose ends in the Northern Territory which has left Annabel and James to run the property. We have continued to have fantastic reviews thanks to their hard work. We have made quite a few changes in the twelve months with more to come. To celebrate our anniversary we are going to give away a night in one of our wonderful Huts . All you need to do is like, share and tag a friend you would like to share a night with.We will draw the winner next Saturday . You will need to have a look at our page to decide which hut you would like to spend the night in

Well lambing season is complete ,13 in total 4 sets of twins and all healthy.

111mm of rain over the last three days has got the water flowing through our paddocks. No shortage of grass for a while

We have been a little quiet on here as Mark and Cassandra are being grey nomads on the big island. James and Annabel are looking after the Rustic Hut Bush Retreat and went for a walk down to the waterfall this morning. How good does it look after all the rain. The waterfall is accessible from the huts and we can point you in the right direction to get a photo yourself.
