Our portfolio averages 4.2 maintenance jobs per property per year

We also have some properties with over 20 jobs being logged per year and we are finding that maintenance in General is very easily becoming one of the most time-consuming roles.

So the question is how are you dealing with it ? Are you accepting it that it is what it is?

Are you auditing your portfolio to find out which properties are too high with maintenance and making a decision on either increasing their fees or giving them notice?

Using a Claude and Property Me integration we are quite quickly working out which properties are a concern, and this is the type of auditing you should be doing on your portfolio and business too

I recently had a personal branding intensive day with Queens Table on a Saturday. Normally the weekends are spent running kids around, cooking and preparing food all day.

So when I knew I would be out all day learning how to lead in my industry, something had to give.

Is it bad that I let my 13 year old stay up till 4am so he could sleep all day while I was at the event?

Who else is a slave to their inbox at the moment🙋🏼‍♀️

I was so good with it in 2025 and literally got my inbox down to about 10 emails a day.

Then I got complacent …

And here we are struggling to move the needle. So we are back to the 4 tips that helped me stop living out of my inbox on the daily!
