Tired of landlords being blamed for a housing mess they didn’t create. 🏠

Rents are rising because supply is broken...years of red tape, planning delays, and stop-start policy have strangled new builds. Short-term rentals? They’ve existed for decades. Scapegoating them (and private investors) just hides government under-delivery.

There are zero real incentives to keep investors in the market...only the expectation they’ll carry what government hasn’t delivered. We need balanced legislation that protects tenants and respects landlords, not laws built to suit a political agenda.

Rita Saffioti, don’t fret about whether an open kitchen is “nice.” Scrap the race-track splurges and put those funds into keeping investors, accelerating approvals, and unlocking supply. Division doesn’t house anyone...it just keeps the crisis (and some jobs) going.

The Housing Minister, John Carey, doesn’t even sound convinced they’re succeeding. We’ve been going backwards for years. Time to fix the pipeline, reward investment, and build fast.
