National Reconciliation Week is a time to reflect on our shared histories and take meaningful steps toward a more united future.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

At Stockland, we continue to walk this path by listening, learning, and acting. From walking on Country with Traditional Owners to embedding cultural knowledge into our projects, we are committed to building respectful relationships with First Nations communities.

As a proud reconciliation organisation, we imagine a future where all Australians are united by respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and their Elders. A future where we design with and for Country, foster economic participation, and celebrate culture in everything we do.

Let’s keep moving forward, together.

Santa Paws Event Update

Due to the extreme heat forecast this week, our 🎅🐾Santa Paws with RSPCA at Canopy | Pet Santa Photos 🎅🐾 event at Stockland Canopy will not be going ahead. While we’re disappointed to cancel, the safety and wellbeing of your pets will always come first.

Together with RSPCA WA, we want to use this moment to share some important hot-weather reminders to help keep animals safe this summer:

🐾 If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your pet. Animals feel heat just like we do, and they’ll need more shade and water on hot days.

🐾 Protect those paws. Footpaths, roads and beach sand can burn quickly. Try the five-second test — if you can’t hold your hand on the ground comfortably, it’s too hot for your dog.

🐾 Walk during the cool parts of the day. Early morning or evening is safest, and on extremely hot days, skipping the walk is the kinder choice.

🐾 Some pets are more vulnerable. Dogs with thick coats, flat-faced breeds, seniors and puppies can feel the heat more intensely.

🐾 Keep them cool. Offer plenty of shade and fresh water, or bring them indoors with you where possible.

Thanks for understanding and for helping us put the wellbeing of pets first. ❤️🐶

Stay safe, stay cool, and keep your pets indoors during the extreme heat.
