🚨 **Increase in Mould During Property Inspections** 🚨
Lately, we've seen a concerning rise in Mould growth during our property inspections. Mould might seem harmless, but it can have significant health consequences. Exposure to Mould can lead to respiratory issues, allergies, and even more severe problems, especially for those with weakened immune systems or pre-existing conditions like asthma. The spores released by Mould can trigger coughing, sneezing, and irritation of the eyes, skin, and throat.
If Mould keeps coming back, after cleaning it could indicate a deeper issue. Persistent Mould growth usually points to:
High Humidity: If moisture levels remain high, Mould will thrive.
Water Leaks: Hidden leaks behind walls, ceilings, or pipes can allow Mould to grow in areas you can’t see.
Poor Ventilation: Areas like bathrooms and basements with inadequate airflow can trap moisture, promoting Mould growth.
If the Mould recurs after cleaning, it’s important to address these underlying issues.
