The belief that is costing high earning women the most in property right now has nothing to do with interest rates.

It is the idea that you need a partner before you can start.

I am a single mum and I own property. I have seen firsthand how damaging this myth is for women who are more than capable of building real wealth on their own.

One of my clients came to me after being told by a mortgage broker that she would never be able to borrow money and that home ownership was simply not an option for her. I sent her to the right broker. Two weeks later she called me crying. She had been approved to borrow $650,000. She could not believe it.

Meet Charlie, my Golden Retriever Poodle and the best part of coming home after a big day.

I spend my days negotiating property deals, researching markets, and making sure my clients do not leave money on the table. It is work I love but it takes everything you have got.

Then I walk through the door and Charlie is there. Paw out, eyes locked on mine, tail going a million miles an hour. He follows me everywhere, he is protective, and he loves unconditionally. There is something really grounding about that.
