Our services include Pre Purchase Inspections, New Build Staged Inspections and PCI (Practical Completion Inspections) I.Q is run by a licensed builder and was founded by Jay and Rebecca in 2021


We are a Perth based Building Inspection company and we cover all areas from Yanchep to Rockingham and out into the Perth Hills. All building inspections are conducted by Jay unless a specialist report i

s required such as a pest , plumbing or electrical inspections. When these are needed we will handle all of these for no extra charge. At I.Q we also love to give back to the community so for every new booking we will donate $25 on your behalf to your chosen organisation. Did you know that in Western Australia builders are not required to have independent inspections carried out.

What does this mean? Simply put, you are putting complete faith in the builder that all works are completed to the highest standard without any independent body holding them accountable.

What can you do? The best advice I can give anyone building in WA is to have an independent building inspector conduct staged inspections on your behalf throughout the construction process.
Most people will bring an inspector to their PCI (Practical Completion Inspection) but by this stage a lot of potential issues can be covered up.
